Journey for these five folks (Ronit Bisht, Ojaswini Singh, Nandini Das, Shweta Sangwan, Basil Khuma) started when, to help the Indian tennis scene to flourish, IMG academies decided to partner with the All India Tennis Association (AITA) in July 2010, to identify and develop the latent junior tennis talent, in and around India.
In tennis, a junior is a player 18 and under who is still legally protected by a parent or guardian. Players on the main adult tour who are under 18 must have documents signed by a parent or guardian. These players, however, are still eligible to play in junior tournaments.
It is fun to play exciting games where competition adds an element of challenge and suspense. It is fun when new players are able to rally longer and longer. It is fun when players are able to see improvement in themselves in various ways.
